It was rough for a while after reading the letter, but it seems everyone settled down.

Chris-sama’s was interrupted by Soul-san who started carefully choosing words.
“Please don’t say you’ll certainly follow her. There are some problems in our country that haven’t yet been solved, some of them only Chris-sama can tackle. No matter how much you love Lillina-sama, it’s reckless to go on a journey.”

However, Chris-sama, who was quarrelling with Soul-san, stormed here.
“Lillina… Are you really going on a trip? … I should abandon my title as a prince and become your retainer.”
I heard a dangerous statement.
“Prince Chris, calm down for the time being. I did say I would take Lillina on a trip, but I haven’t mentioned the destination yet. I’m thinking of showing Lillina the Western Country first. The king also said he’d like to meet Lillina once. Only then I considered going to another country.”
Grandfather told Chris-sama such a thing.
So the destination of the first trip is the Western Country.
I’ve never been close to it though.
I know it’s a big country.
Well, I learned a lot in queen education.
“Then Lillina will visit my country. I’m so glad, I don’t mind if Lillina settles down there. I’ll prepare a house.”
Chris, who’s in a good mood, is saying such a thing merrily.
But the twins’ mood turned sour from that remark.
Yup, it’s unlikely either’s mood will improve.
And on the side brother is looking downcast.

Just caught up. Thanks for taking the series, was pretty sad when it was dropped previously.
I did read you said it mainly based on MTL so it could be part the reason, the previous translator had also said her thoughts were becoming more informal and relaxed as time passed. She seems to speak less in an Ojou~Sama style compared to before. Granted it is usually still polite, was just wondering if this Lilliana changing her speach patterns or something that came about due to the nature of the TL.

That’s a tough question. To begin with, I haven’t as much as looked at the raws of the earlier chapters, and with my extremely limited knowledge of Japanese from anime and a little studying (I can only assume MTL would be completely useless for that), it could be hard to properly compare them anyway.
That said, I do get an impression of a certain level of light-heartedness, and I aim to portray it. So in a sense it might very well be the TL change.

Thanks for the reply. I figured part the change was from her being released from her pressures, she was no longer the crown princes fiancee. As such she could relax a little more, since she was no longer representing the royal family and that she was worthy of such a position.
Since the pressure was gone, she started acting a little more like herself, considering her family background it’s impossible to completely lack manners and polite speech but a bit of lightheartedness as you said maybe included in her tone now.
Well that was option A, option B was the TL change by using MTL lost some of those nuances. I guess time will tell if it gets more relaxed it shows its her, same for if goes more polite and formal both of which could show up during her travels, especially going meeting royalty she is unacquainted with.
